UAE Card Change Log: correcting our Liv salary and fee figures

We corrected our Liv salary eligibility and Cashback+ fee figures against the issuer's key facts. This is a DubaiPoints correction, not a new bank change.

DubaiPoints got two Liv details wrong. Our listings treated the Cashback cards as having no minimum salary, and showed Cashback+ fees before VAT while labelling them VAT-inclusive. We corrected our publication on 5 November 2026 against Liv’s key facts.

This is not evidence that Liv has just changed its eligibility or prices. It is a correction to what we displayed. The issuer’s key facts statement checked for this entry is printed January 2026; the older directory in its URL is not the document’s edition date.

What the checked key facts show

CardMinimum monthly salaryJoining feeAnnual renewal fee
Liv CashbackAED 5,000AED 0AED 0
Liv Cashback+AED 15,000AED 735 including VAT, before any applicable waiverAED 735 including VAT

These figures come from the named Cashback columns of the checked KFS, not from its separate Tamayaz columns or the monthly spending tiers used to determine cashback. That distinction matters: a rewards-spend requirement is not the salary required to apply.

Before-tax wording is not an extra bank increase

Liv’s product comparison page quotes the Cashback+ fees before VAT and says its listed fees exclude VAT. The KFS lists the higher charge shown above. Reading the two together supports treating the KFS figure as the VAT-inclusive amount; the KFS table does not itself label it that way. Our error was presenting the before-tax fee as though tax was already included. These documents do not establish a new price rise.

The product page also describes a conditional joining-fee waiver for customers with the required Liv account and an ongoing Liv Max subscription before applying. Do not read that as an unconditional annual-fee waiver, or assume the subscription has no cost. Check the conditions before taking another product just to avoid a joining fee.

What to do with the correction

If a previous DubaiPoints result put either card on your shortlist as “no minimum salary”, revisit the Card Finder. Meeting a published salary minimum still does not guarantee approval; Liv applies its other eligibility and credit conditions.

For the latest product details, use our Liv Cashback review and Liv Cashback+ review, then confirm the issuer’s current terms before applying. The table above preserves the source snapshot behind this dated correction rather than silently changing with future card data.

The source recheck covered salary and joining/renewal fees. It was not a fresh verification of every reward rate, cap or other charge. The correction is also recorded in our permanent corrections log.
