Qatar Airways Privilege Club has opened its October round of Privilege Deals, discounted Avios prices on selected routes. Qatar’s offers page says to book by 14 October 2026 and travel by 30 November 2026, and headlines the round as “Save up to 25% on award flights”.

Five days, at time of writing, and a short travel window after that.

This is the second round we have covered; the September round included Abu Dhabi in Business. October’s does not. It has Sharjah in Economy instead.

What we verified

We read the Privilege Club special-offers page on 9 October 2026. Every tile is priced from Doha. The ones closest to home:

Route from DohaCabinFrom
SharjahEconomy5,250 Avios
MuscatEconomy5,250 Avios
DammamEconomy5,250 Avios
SalalahBusiness10,500 Avios
JeddahBusiness15,750 Avios
MedinaBusiness15,750 Avios

The Sharjah tile’s own booking link searches a one-way Doha–Sharjah fare, so read 5,250 Avios as a one-way price. Every tile shows the same sample dates, 8 to 13 October; the price on your dates may differ.

Other tiles on the page are further afield: Business to Amman, Ankara, Bucharest, Tunis, Warsaw, Yerevan and Zanzibar; Economy to Casablanca, Entebbe, Istanbul, Nice, Singapore and Stockholm.

The rule that makes Sharjah interesting

Per Head for Points, which covered the round on 8 October, the discount applies to any trip that starts or ends in a listed city, not only the Doha sector shown on the tile. On that reading, an Economy award from Sharjah to anywhere Qatar flies via Doha would price at the discount this month.

Qatar’s page does not state that rule in the text we read, so treat it as HfP’s reading and confirm it on the booking screen before moving Avios. HfP also reports two exclusions: the discount does not apply to Qatar’s higher-priced “Flexi” award seats, and it covers Qatar-operated flights only. Privilege Deals cannot be booked through British Airways, per HfP; book at qatarairways.com.

What it means for UAE members

  • You live in Sharjah or the northern emirates and hold Qatar Avios. Price an Economy award out of SHJ for travel before 30 November. If the starts-or-ends rule holds, this is the cheapest month to do it.
  • You were hoping for Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Neither is on October’s list, in either cabin.
  • You would need to buy or transfer Avios first. We do not publish a fils valuation for Qatar Avios, so price the acquisition in AED and set it against the cash fare before you commit. Qatar’s Global Points Exchange bonus runs to 31 October and can lower that cost. The Qatar Privilege Club hub covers the rest.

Taxes and carrier charges are on top of the Avios price, and the offers page does not show them.

Verified 9 October 2026 against Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club offers page (deadlines, headline discount, routes and Avios prices). The starts-or-ends rule and the Flexi, partner and ba.com exclusions are per Head for Points, as marked, and are not confirmed by Qatar.
