Qatar Airways Privilege Club is paying a bonus of up to 35% in Avios on reward points converted from its partners by 31 October 2026, per the offer page on qatarairways.com. The bonus is tiered by the size of a single transaction, so one large transfer earns more than several small ones.
Register-first rules: none are stated on the offer page, and Head for Points’ five-rule summary of the terms lists no registration step either. The page says only that terms and conditions apply; the terms themselves did not load when we read it, so the posting date below comes from a secondary source and is marked as such.
The tiers
Per Qatar Airways, the bonus depends on how many Avios one conversion produces:
| Avios from one transaction | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Up to 49,999 | 15% |
| 50,000 to 99,999 | 25% |
| 100,000 or more | 35% |
Converting 100,000 Avios’ worth of partner points in one go would arrive as 135,000 Avios. The same points split across two 50,000 transfers would earn 25% each, or 125,000 Avios.
The UAE partners
The offer page lists eligible regions for each partner. Four UAE programmes qualify:
- Emirates NBD (United Arab Emirates)
- Dubai Islamic Bank (United Arab Emirates)
- HSBC (Qatar and United Arab Emirates)
- Mashreq Vantage (United Arab Emirates)
Global hotel programmes on the list: ALL Accor, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La Circle and World of Hyatt. Marriott Bonvoy is not on the list, which matters because Bonvoy is the hotel currency most UAE readers hold and the one with a published Qatar conversion rate in our transfer-ratios guide.
We have not published the conversion rates from the four UAE bank programmes into Qatar Avios, and the offer page does not state them. Check the rate inside your bank’s rewards portal before converting; the bonus is applied to the Avios that land, not to the bank points you spend.
Who should care
- Readers with a large Emirates NBD, DIB, HSBC UAE or Mashreq Vantage balance who were going to move it to Avios anyway. Waiting to convert in one transaction, rather than in instalments, is the whole game here.
- Readers planning a Qsuite redemption. The Qatar Privilege Club hub sets out the Business-class sweet spots from Doha; a 35% uplift on a 100,000-Avios conversion is a meaningful part of a long-haul Business ticket.
- Almost nobody holding only hotel points. Head for Points, which flagged the offer on 3 October, argues that hotel points are usually worth more as hotel nights than as Avios even with the bonus, and that Accor points still do better moved to Iberia than to Qatar. We have not re-derived that comparison, and HfP’s own Accor-to-Qatar rate is stated two ways in its article, so treat it as their view and check the rate in your Accor account.
What we could not confirm
Per Head for Points, bonus Avios post by 30 November 2026, and the qualifying date is “the transaction date notified by the relevant Participating Partner” (HfP quoting Qatar’s terms), so a conversion started on 31 October may not count. Qatar’s own terms did not load for us, so we have not confirmed either point from the issuer.
Verified 4 October 2026 against the Qatar Airways offer page (tiers, deadline and partner list); the posting date and transaction-date rule are per Head for Points, as marked.
