Best UAE credit cards with airport lounge access — 2026

Which UAE credit cards include airport lounge access, through which programme, how many visits and whether a guest gets in — from free-for-life cards to AED 2,625 premium cards, with the gaps in what banks publish stated plainly.

Cards in this guide

Lounge access is the perk UAE banks advertise most and explain least. Card pages say “complimentary airport lounge access” and stop there, without saying which programme, how many visits a year, or whether the person travelling with you gets in. Those three details decide whether the perk is worth anything to you.

This guide collects what our card database records for every card we cover that includes lounge access: the programme, the visit allowance, the guest policy and any condition attached. Where a bank does not publish one of those, we say so rather than fill the gap. Every figure comes from our card database as verified on the dates shown on each linked review. Fees are AED inclusive of VAT.

Two notes on what this guide does not do. It does not name specific lounges at DXB, AUH or anywhere else: the programmes’ lounge lists change, and the bank pages do not commit to particular lounges. Check the programme’s app for your departure terminal before you rely on it. And it puts a dirham value on a lounge visit only as our reviews do — an AED 200 walk-in equivalent per visit, a modelling convention, not a price quote.

For a sortable list of the cards whose lounge access is recorded in our typed data, see cards with lounge access.

The short answer

  • Free, and unlimited: Emirates NBD Voyager World — unlimited Mastercard Travel Pass visits for the cardholder, no annual fee, AED 12,000 minimum salary.
  • Free, with a clear allowance: CBD One — eight visits a year via Visa Airport Companion, AED 5,000 minimum salary.
  • Low fee, with a guest allowance: FAB Cashback — eight visits for you and six for a guest each year, AED 315.
  • Low fee, most visits: HSBC Live+ — 12 visits a year, fee waived from year two above AED 12,000 of annual spend.
  • Premium, unlimited with a guest: Emirates NBD Skywards Infinite or FAB Etihad Guest Infinite, depending on which airline you fly.

What a lounge visit is worth to you

Our reviews value a visit at AED 200. A couple taking four return trips a year and using a lounge on each departure from the UAE makes eight visits — four for the cardholder, four for the guest:

  • 8 visits × AED 200 = AED 1,600 a year, if the card covers the guest.
  • 4 visits × AED 200 = AED 800 a year, if it covers the cardholder only and the guest pays.

That gap is why the guest policy matters as much as the visit count. On a card that covers only the cardholder, a family of four gets one quarter of the value.

The Voyager World is the standout. Unlimited worldwide visits on a card with no annual fee is unusual, and four solo trips a year is AED 800 at our convention. Guests pay. CBD One offers fewer visits but a lower salary bar, plus US$500,000 of travel insurance.

The Emirates NBD LuLu 247 Titanium no longer appears here: its product page says “Effective 1st May 2025, Airport Lounge Access will be discontinued” (checked 19 October 2026).

Two Emirates NBD cards currently charge no fee under a promotion and list lounge access without a published allowance or provider: Mastercard Platinum (Mastercard Travel Pass) and Duo (Abu Dhabi residents only). Our reviews put no annual value on either until ENBD publishes the cap.

FAB World Elite is listed as free in FAB’s Key Facts Statement and includes unlimited worldwide access for the cardholder and a guest, but it is by invitation only, and FAB does not name the programme.

For a couple, FAB Cashback is the best value here. It is the only low-fee card that publishes a guest allowance: eight visits for you plus six for a guest. Our couple’s eight visits (four each) fit inside it, so that is AED 1,600 a year at our convention against a AED 315 fee.

For a solo traveller, HSBC Live+ gives the most visits: 12 a year, with the fee waived from year two above AED 12,000 of annual spend. The condition is easy to meet but easy to forget: at least one international purchase of USD 1 or more each year.

For unlimited access at a low fee, the Diners Club charges AED 420 for unlimited visits to 1,000+ lounges, but requires your salary at Emirates NBD, and Diners Club is accepted at fewer merchants than Visa or Mastercard.

Citi’s eight visits depend on spending abroad, which suits a card whose lounge use only happens when you travel anyway.

The Skywards Signature’s product page (checked 19 October 2026) gives “Unlimited access to over 1,000 premium lounges in over 300 cities via the Visa Airport Companion App”; it does not mention guest access.

At this level unlimited access with a guest is standard, so the lounge alone should not decide between these cards. Choose on the airline or loyalty programme first, then check the guest line:

  • You fly Emirates: the Skywards Infinite is the only premium card here whose annual fee waives on spend (at AED 100,000 a year). Its product page names Visa Airport Companion (1,000+ lounges) but states no visit allowance or guest policy. More in our Skywards cards guide.
  • You fly Etihad: the FAB Etihad Guest Infinite gives unlimited access with a guest regardless of your Etihad Guest tier, which helps on flights where airline status would not get you in.
  • Lowest premium fee: the ADCB TouchPoints Infinite at AED 1,050 a year, no salary transfer, cardholder plus one guest.

At AED 200 a visit, a couple flying six return trips a year (12 visits) gets AED 2,400 of lounge value at our convention: enough to cover a AED 1,575 annual fee on its own, but not a AED 2,625 one.

The two ADCB Mastercard cards limit you to 14 visits a year. On the Traveller, guests pay the Mastercard Travel Pass rate.

Cards without lounge access

Some popular cards include none, according to our reviews: Mashreq Cashback, ADCB Essential Cashback and ADCB TouchPoints Platinum (lounge access starts at the TouchPoints Infinite).

Before you count on the lounge

  1. Find the programme’s app. Visa Airport Companion, Mastercard Travel Pass and DragonPass each run their own app and lounge list. Check your departure terminal there, not on the bank’s page.
  2. “Unlimited” is the bank’s word. Several cards above say unlimited on the product page and leave the guest policy unstated. Ask before you bring someone.
  3. Meet the condition. HSBC needs one international purchase a year; Citi needs non-AED spend; Emirates Islamic ties each perk to a monthly spend minimum.
  4. Banks change lounge providers. Our reviews note that Emirates NBD has switched lounge providers on some cards before. Check after renewal.

Bottom line

For most UAE residents the best lounge card is a free or low-fee one: the Emirates NBD Voyager World for unlimited solo access at no fee, FAB Cashback for a couple at AED 315, and HSBC Live+ for the most visits on a card that becomes free from year two. Premium cards add unlimited guest access, but at AED 1,000–2,625 a year the lounge should be a reason to choose between them, not the reason to buy one.

All figures from our card database, re-checked on 19 October 2026. Where a bank does not publish a visit allowance or guest policy, this guide says so; the per-card sources and last-verified dates are on each linked review.
