Requirements
- Open a Mashreq or Mashreq NEO Current/Savings account and transfer a net salary of at least AED 5,000/month.
- Terms shown apply to accounts whose FIRST salary lands on or after 1 August 2026 (Mashreq's current published table). Earlier joiners are on the previous joining-bonus structure.
- The early-bird component requires the first salary within 90 days of account opening — a late HR switch forfeits that half of the headline.
- Salary must be credited by a UAE-registered employer through recognised salary-transfer channels — remittance, direct transfer, cash or cheque credits do not qualify. A mislabelled transfer narration can void the bonus.
- Bonus is banded on the FIRST salary credited; later pay rises do not re-band it.
Real-world notes
- Re-verified 22 August 2026 against Mashreq’s live NEO salary-transfer page and its linked salary-transfer bonus T&C. The offer changed on 1 August 2026: the base joining bonus re-banded to AED 100 / 350 / 1,000 / 2,500 and a new early-bird cashback (AED 100 / 250 / 800 / 1,500) was added for salaries arriving within 90 days of account opening — taking the achievable headline to AED 4,000 at 50,000+.
- The two components together are what Mashreq’s “up to AED 4,000” banner refers to; miss the 90-day early-bird window and the ceiling halves to AED 2,500.
- Branded “cashback” by Mashreq, but it is a fixed AED bonus per salary band paid in monthly instalments — not an ongoing percentage cashback.
- Payout discipline is the long game here: instalments run across 12 months and a 2-month salary gap inside the first year reverses everything already paid. This remains the longest-tailed clawback on the tracker.
- Mashreq’s own page still carries a legacy FAQ describing 6 instalments for the older structure; the current offer copy states 12. We flag the discrepancy rather than resolve it — confirm the instalment schedule in the account-opening T&C before counting on timing.
- No published hard end date;
validUntilis a conservative year-end marker, not a bank deadline.
