ADIB has launched two Marriott Bonvoy co-branded Covered Cards — the Sharia-compliant structure ADIB uses across its card range. Both are live on ADIB’s site now, and the headline welcome offer runs 27 August to 30 November 2026.
This is the first Marriott Bonvoy co-brand issued in the UAE. For a market where the hotel co-brand shelf has been thin, that is the story — more than any single number in it.
The two cards

| International spend | up to 4 pts / US$1 | up to 2 pts / US$1 |
| UAE spend | up to 3 pts / US$1 | up to 1.5 pts / US$1 |
| Elite status | Gold | Silver |
| Status pathway | Platinum at US$25,000/yr | Gold at US$15,000/yr |

Both carry a 3.75% monthly profit rate (45.63% APR) per ADIB’s Key Facts Statement, and ATM cash withdrawals cost 3% with a AED 99 minimum.
What the welcome offer actually requires
The Infinite’s 200,000 points is two separate hurdles, not one:
- 100,000 points on card issuance plus a first retail transaction within 30 days.
- A further 100,000 points for US$15,000 of retail spend in the first 90 days — about AED 55,100 at the pegged rate.
At our ratified Bonvoy baseline of 2.5 fils per point (AED 25 per 1,000), the full 200,000 is AED 5,000 of value.
Read the halves separately, because they behave differently:
- The first 100,000 is AED 2,500 — it covers the first year’s fee exactly, for one transaction. That half is close to free money.
- The second 100,000 is also AED 2,500, but it costs AED 55,100 of spend inside 90 days to unlock. On UAE spend at 3 pts/US$1 you would also earn roughly 45,000 points along the way, so the tranche is worth about AED 3,625 on AED 55,100 — a ~6.6% return. Good, if you were going to spend it anyway. If you are manufacturing spend to reach it, you are paying for points.
Year two is where it tightens
The Infinite’s renewal benefit is a Free Night Award “valued at 85,000 points”. At our 2.5-fils baseline that is AED 2,125 against an AED 2,500 fee — so the certificate alone does not cover the renewal, and Free Night Awards are capped in value rather than guaranteed to reach it. Whether year two pays depends on the 8 pts/US$1 at Marriott properties and on Gold status being worth something to you.
The Signature’s arithmetic is gentler: AED 499 for 50,000 welcome points (AED 1,250) and a 35,000-point anniversary award (AED 875), which does clear the fee on its own.
What we could not verify
ADIB does not publish an FX margin or a minimum salary for these cards in the product pages, Key Facts Statement or Schedule of Charges we read on 10 September 2026 — a gap our own scraper has logged repeatedly against ADIB. For a card whose best earn rate is on international hotel spend, the FX margin is the missing number that decides the whole case, and we are not going to guess it. Ask for it in writing before you apply.
The Infinite’s US$100 property credit applies at The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis on a direct booking of two nights or more on a special rate — about AED 367, and only if you were staying at those brands anyway.
We have not added these cards to our card data yet. That needs the fee, FX and eligibility fields confirmed in writing, and a full review — which is a separate job from reporting the launch.
