Emirates Skywards’ Season of Rewards closes on 31 August 2026, nine days from now. Before anything else, the registration gotchas: the flight-side offers require tickets booked and issued between 21 May and 11.59pm on 31 August (Dubai time) with outbound travel between 21 May and 31 August inclusive, and anyone not yet a Skywards member must enrol by 11.59pm Dubai time on 31 August to qualify at all.
We covered the campaign’s four components at launch — doubled Cash+Miles, 20% bonus Tier Miles, the partner-earning lift, and the easyJet/Jet2 reward-flight discount — in our 22 May coverage. This is the closing reminder, so here is only what is still actionable from the UAE this week.
The travel window is what bites now
Because the terms pair a book-by date with an outbound-travel window ending the same day, booking this week only counts if you also depart by 31 August. A ticket issued today for a September trip earns nothing from this campaign. If you have a genuine reason to fly Emirates or flydubai before month-end — a last summer-holiday leg, a back-to-school return — book it inside the window. If your next trip departs 1 September or later, there is no action to take; do not move a trip for this.
Partner bonuses: the cap shapes the maths
The 50% bonus Skywards Miles on travel partners — airlines, hotels, car rentals and Emirates Holidays — is capped at 10,000 bonus Miles per partner, worth about AED 200 at the 2-fils cost-basis valuation we use on the Skywards programme page. That cap means a partner hotel stay or car rental you were making anyway this week is worth routing through Skywards; it is not worth manufacturing spend for. Per our launch coverage, this component requires registration first and the bonus posts within 60 days after the campaign ends — so do not expect the Miles in September’s statement.
What it means for UAE members
Fly before month-end: book inside the window and, per our launch coverage, use the doubled Cash+Miles rate if you are burning a small balance on the fare or extras. Not flying until September: nothing here applies to you, and the separate enhanced-redemption push runs to 30 September on its own deadline. Emirates NBD Skywards co-brand cardholders flying in the window still stack card earning on top, unchanged from launch.
