Emirates has relaunched My Emirates Pass for winter. Per the terms on emirates.com, an Emirates boarding pass to Dubai, in your own name and dated between 1 October 2026 and 31 March 2027, gets discounts at partner venues across the UAE for the same period. The pass can be used at different venues, and more than once at the same one.
The gotchas, up front. The programme period excludes UAE public holidays. You need photo ID with the pass. Boarding passes cannot be reprinted after departure, so Emirates suggests screenshotting a mobile boarding pass, which can vanish from the app once you have flown. And the programme is not valid with any other discount, promotion or loyalty programme.
Why a resident should care
The programme is marketed at visitors, but nothing in the terms limits it to them. The test is a boarding pass to Dubai issued by Emirates, so a UAE resident flying home from a winter trip qualifies on the inbound leg. If you fly Emirates back into DXB once between now and March, keep the pass.
There is no Skywards angle: the pass earns no Miles and costs none. It is a discount on spend you make in the UAE, which you may also be able to stack with nothing else, so check whether a card discount you already hold beats it before you show the pass.
What the offers look like
A sample of what the offer list showed on 9 October, in each venue’s own terms:
- Dining: 20% off food and beverage at Creek Kitchen (Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek) and at &More by Sheraton (Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort and Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai), valid for the pass holder and up to nine guests; 30% off the bill at 365 Restaurant, Novotel Dubai Al Barsha.
- Leisure: 15% off all Ain Dubai ticket categories; 20% off Dubai Sail GP tickets with a promo code; buy one, get one free on a full family day pass at The Els Club’s Country Club.
- Spa and wellbeing: 20% off selected treatments at Talise Spa, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, and at Ahasees Spa & Club, Grand Hyatt Dubai.
- Retail: 15% off full-price items at several Apparel Group brands, including ALDO and Aeropostale, on a single bill.
Each venue sets its own conditions, and Emirates says they can change at the partner’s discretion. Read the venue’s line on the offers page before you go; several exclude tobacco, shisha and existing packages, and some require a booking.
What it changes
Nothing about a booking, a fare or an earn rate. If you are choosing between carriers for a trip home this winter, it is a small point in Emirates’ favour, not a reason to pay more for the ticket. For how Skywards prices the flight itself, see the Emirates Skywards hub.
One Mile at a Time wrote about the programme on 5 October, which is where our monitoring first picked it up. Every fact above is from Emirates’ own page.
