flydubai has announced interline agreements with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways on 16 September 2026. You can now buy a flydubai flight plus an onward flight on either airline as one ticket, with your bags checked through to the final stop.
flydubai says the two deals add more than 80 destinations that its passengers can book. It now has interline agreements with 46 airlines.
Where they reach
- Through Air India: Indian destinations such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Goa, Jaipur, Pune and Varanasi. Beyond India: Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Mauritius, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.
- Through Uzbekistan Airways, via Tashkent: Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Moscow. In Europe, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome. Inside Uzbekistan, Bukhara, Fergana and Urgench.
You can book these tickets on flydubai.com, in the flydubai app, through its contact centre and travel shops, or on the partner airline’s own site.
What an interline ticket is — and is not
An interline ticket lets two airlines sell each other’s flights on one booking. It is not a codeshare: you fly on the partner’s own flight number and its own aircraft. It covers tickets and bags. It does not, on its own, make the two airlines loyalty partners.
flydubai’s release does not mention Emirates Skywards, miles or tier credit. Do not assume the Air India or Uzbekistan Airways part of the journey earns Skywards Miles. Why it is worth knowing
For UAE residents, the useful part is one booking through Dubai to destinations beyond flydubai’s own network, with bags checked through, instead of two separate tickets you have to connect yourself. The Tashkent connections also add a Central Asian routing to parts of Russia and Europe.
