Emirates NBD's new salary-transfer offer: AED 1,500 to AED 6,000 cashback, to 24 December

ENBD's new offer pays cashback, not the bonus interest of its February–June cycle. New customers earning AED 15,000+ get AED 1,500 or AED 2,000 for a salary transfer, a credit card and AED 5,000 of spend. A loan or wealth product lifts it to AED 2,000 or AED 6,000. Fewer than twelve consecutive salaries and ENBD can claw it back.

Emirates NBD has a new salary-transfer offer, running from 25 September to 24 December 2026. It pays cashback. The last ENBD cycle we covered, 1 February to 30 June 2026, paid bonus interest on the balance instead. The headline is “up to AED 6,000”, but that figure needs a salary of AED 50,000 or more and a loan or wealth product.

What it pays

Per ENBD’s terms and conditions:

Monthly salarySalary transfer + credit card…plus a loan or wealth product
AED 15,000 – 49,999AED 1,500AED 2,000 in total
AED 50,000 or moreAED 2,000AED 6,000 in total

The right-hand column is the total, not an extra amount: ENBD’s table adds AED 500 or AED 4,000 to the base figure.

What you have to do

  1. Open your first ENBD account. The offer is for new-to-bank customers, or customers new to “liabilities” with the bank. The account must be your first-ever current or savings account with ENBD, opened during the offer period. Existing accounts and products do not count.
  2. Transfer a salary of at least AED 15,000 (fixed monthly allowances count) within 90 days of opening the account. It must arrive through the UAE’s WPS or Fund Transfer System. Cash, cheques and transfers from a personal account do not count. Pension credits do count. ENBD’s offer page adds that only salaries from its approved list of employers qualify.
  3. Get a new ENBD credit card within 90 days of opening the account, and spend AED 5,000 on it within 60 days of the card being issued. Cash withdrawals, cash advances, fees and refunds do not count towards the spend.
  4. For the higher figure, take a personal, auto or home loan, or any wealth product. The offer page says this must be within 90 days of opening the account.

The catches

  • You wait about five months. ENBD pays the cashback after 150 calendar days, counted from your first salary credit.
  • Twelve salaries, or ENBD can take it back. ENBD may reverse the cashback if you do not receive 12 consecutive salary payments. It can take the money from any of your ENBD accounts or cards.
  • Keep the card and any loan open until 180 days after account opening. If you close the credit card or loan within 180 days of opening the account, you lose eligibility and ENBD can reverse the cashback without notice.
  • One bonus, and no combining. You can earn only one salary-transfer welcome bonus. Once it is paid, you are not eligible for other offers under this promotion or for ENBD promotions running at the same time. ENBD’s terms also say the promotion is not valid with any other ENBD promotion, campaign or offer.
  • A loan bought for the bonus is the expensive part. At the top tier, AED 4,000 of the AED 6,000 depends on a loan or wealth product. Price that product on its own terms before counting the cashback.
