Etihad’s UAE offers page is running published round-trip Economy fares out of Abu Dhabi, with a booking deadline of 31 July 2026 for travel through November 2026. Fares are inclusive of taxes and surcharges; the airline shows a cash price and an Etihad Guest Miles price side by side for each route.
- Mumbai — AED 1,050 or 35,735 Miles
- Cairo — AED 1,060 or 36,082 Miles
- Rome — AED 2,290 or 77,942 Miles
- Bangkok — AED 2,650 or 90,192 Miles
- New York (JFK) — AED 3,480 or 118,243 Miles
- London (LHR) — AED 3,520 or 119,806 Miles
Pay cash, keep the Miles
Divide any cash fare by its Miles price and the answer is the same on every route: 2.94 fils per Etihad Guest Mile. AED 1,050 ÷ 35,735 = 2.94. AED 3,520 ÷ 119,806 = 2.94. A flat rate across six unrelated routes means these are fixed-rate “Miles as currency” prices, not award-chart seats.
That rate is a poor use of Miles. Saver Business redemptions on the same programme return roughly 15–23 fils per Mile — five to eight times better. If you are booking these fares, book them in cash and keep the Miles for a premium cabin. Our Etihad Guest programme guide has the sweet-spot list, and the valuations methodology explains the cost-basis figures.
Before you book
These are ex-Abu Dhabi fares — Dubai-based readers should price the transfer into the comparison against an equivalent DXB departure. Etihad states the schedule is subject to change and local operating conditions, and sale fares carry their own change and cancellation rules. Check the fare conditions on the booking page before paying.
