Emirates Islamic is offering up to 200,000 bonus Etihad Guest Miles to new holders of its Etihad Guest Covered Cards who apply by 31 October 2026. The card must be issued before 5 November 2026. The bonus comes in two parts: one tranche when the annual fee is paid, a second for hitting a spend threshold in the first three months.

Etihad Guest Platinum19910,00012,00020,00030,0005,000

At our 2-fils cost-basis baseline for an Etihad Guest Mile, the totals are worth roughly AED 4,000 (Premium), AED 2,000 (Saqer), AED 1,600 (Ameera) and AED 600 (Platinum). Net of the first-year fee, that is about AED 2,500, AED 1,101, AED 901 and AED 401. Redeemed well, Miles can be worth more than that; the baseline is deliberately conservative.

The spend tranche is the harder half. AED 60,000 in three months on the Premium card is AED 20,000 a month of retail spend. Emirates Islamic excludes the annual and joining fees, cash transactions, balance transfers and profit from the count, and reversed transactions do not count either.

The terms that matter:

  • Not for returning cardholders: anyone who has held an Emirates Islamic Etihad Guest card before is excluded
  • Not on top of other welcome offers: the campaign Miles are “inclusive of any other Welcome bonus” on these cards
  • Timing: fee-payment Miles arrive within 45 days of paying the annual fee and the campaign joining fee; spend Miles within 45 days of hitting the threshold. The card must be activated within 30 days of opening
  • Joining fee: the terms mention a “campaign joining fee” but the offer page does not state an amount. Ask before you sign
  • Missed payments: meeting the spend but missing a minimum payment forfeits the bonus

Emirates Islamic’s page also lists up to two 60% discount vouchers on Etihad Guest Miles bookings and a fast track to Gold tier, but says these depend on card type without saying which card gets which.

Verified against the Emirates Islamic offer page on 13 October 2026. Emirates Islamic says it may change or cancel the offer without notice.
